Jordans or Justice_ UShift Film Project (Toronto)

A few months ago I was asked to come to St. Albans Boys & Girls Club to speak about storytelling and spoken word. The group of young people I met there were participating in their first day of the U Shift Film Program, a film program run by filmmakers/lovers Ayelen Liberona and Nicole Crozier. She emailed me today to let me know that they had finished their film project. This short piece is about probably the most popular sneaker in history, the Air Jordan and some of the context around the shoe, it’s popularity, it’s namesake and the people who make them.
