Pharrell Williams_ MIDEM 2010 KEYNOTE

There is a really annoying computer sound in the first half of this video that keeps popping up (someone probably got fired after this keynote). Despite the sound I pushed through the interview because (maybe unexpectedly) Pharrell is an inspiration to me. His ability to move from music to all the way to designing chairs and more chairs and creating things like Kidult and Artst is amazingly inspirational for someone like me. Not to mention he’s one of the most prolific and creative producers of contemporary music that you can find. This interview by Cornerstone co-CEO Rob Stone on of the founder of Fader Magazine shows a little of what is inside Pharrell’s brain, more complex and thoughtful than the Drop it Like it’s Hot video might suggest.
