I originally heard about Just A Band from one of my friends in Nairobi who is connected to the music scene out there. I just heard the name and a little about them, no music. They are a collaborative project between Nairobi and Berlin artists. I stumbled across this video for ‘If I Could’ a little white ago not really recognizing it was the same people my friend had told me about, I just thought that video was cool and the girl in the video had such big beautiful eyes; so I watched it. This song/video came out in 2009 but it’s just as good as the first time I watched it.
