M.I.A_ Bad Girls (The Making Of)

For some reason the documentary of the making of Bad Girls by M.I.A. makes me like the song better (is that wrong?) The video is obviously crazy, but seeing the process makes makes me understand some things I didn’t understand before.

Yuna_ Come As You Are

My friend Naomi Williams first told me about this young Muslim singer from Malaysia named Yuna sometime last year. I had seen a full page add in Fader Magazine a little while after and didn’t make the connection. It came together when I heard this cover of ‘Come As You Are’ by Nirvana.
